Jewett House - 2014
Located on a post facing south on the porch of the Jewett House at 1501 East Lakeshore Drive in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. 

Hayden Lake Country Club - 2016
Located in the foyer at Hayden Lake Country Club, 2362 E. Bozanta Drive in Hayden Lake, Idaho. 

Fort Sherman Chapel - 2017
Located outside of Fort Sherman Chapel at 32 Hubbard Street in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  

Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center - 2021
Located by the patio entrance to the building at 405 North William Street in Post Falls, Idaho.

Revolutionary War Patriots - 2024
Located at Independence Point in Coeur d'Alene. This marker is part of the America 250 commemoration by Daughters of the American Revolution to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Revolutionary War Patriot Dedication Marker - 2025
A marker was placed at the gravesite of Captain Nicholas Ray who served the cause of independence in Maryland by taking the Oath of Allegiance in 1778 and serving as a captain. The gravesite is in the Ray Family Cemetery at 512 Brown Forman Road in Lebanon, Kentucky. Honorary State Regent (Idaho) Catherine McClintick, a descendent of Nicholas Ray, presided over the ceremony when the marker was placed on May 17, 2025.

Commemorative Markers

Welcome to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
Lieutenant George Farragut Chapter, NSDAR, is proud to be represented on the Welcome to Coeur d'Alene sign seen by residents and visitors passing through the downtown area. The sign is displayed on Northwest Boulevard at Garden.

Farragut State Park, Athol, Idaho
The Lieutenant George Farragut Chapter, NSDAR, presented a plaque to Farragut State Park in honor of Admiral David Farragut, the son of our chapter's namesake. The plaque is currently located in the brig at the site of the former Farragut Naval Training Station in Athol, Idaho.

McEuen Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
To commemorate Arbor Day in 2017, our conservation committee chair organized the planting of a red oak tree in McEuen Park near the Rotary House.

Coeur d'Alene Carousel
​In 2018 Lieutenant George Farragut Chapter, NSDAR, purchased a floor tile to be placed at the Coeur d'Alene Carousel on Fort Grounds Drive. The carousel was at Playland Pier for over 30 years. Its location was unknown from the mid-1970s until it resurfaced at an auction in Puyallup, Washington, in 1986. It was purchased and added to a carousel museum in Hood River, Oregon. In 2011 it was purchased by John and Pat Foote, new residents to Coeur d'Alene, and gifted to the newly-formed carousel foundation. The carousel opened at its new home in Coeur d'Alene on June 9, 2017.

Never Forget Garden and Plaque - Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
On September 11, 2021, the Idaho State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (ISSDAR or DAR) partnered with Colonial Dames and the Society of the Honor Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, to dedicate a Never Forget Garden and plaque at McEuen Park in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Never Forget Garden Marker - Hayden, Idaho
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Colonial Dames of the XVII Century and Daughters of the American Revolution dedicated a Never Forget Garden marker in the Robert J. Gordon Memorial Plaza in front of Hayden City Hall in Hayden, Idaho.

Never Forget Garden Marker - Post Falls, Idaho
The new Idaho Veterans Home, in Post Falls, was dedicated on November 11, 2022. The program included dedicating a Never Forget Garden marker in conjunction with Colonial Dames XVII Century.
